The Mustang’s swept this week with three wins going into the final regular season meets next week. Marian is 6-1 in Division racing.

Lauren Dee, Junior, continued her strong finishes by once more leading Marians scoring in both SL and GS. Sophomore Regan Condit has been progressing quickly this year and was the number two scorer in each event and also posted her first top ten finish in SL with a 9th overall. Senior captain Tessy Klein was the thrid SL scorer and was 4th scorer in GS. Sophomore Katelyn Triemstra was the fourth scorer in SL and third Mustang scorer in GS. Junior Kara Sigler was 5th position in each race, she also is continueing to improve her finishes. Sophomores Brynn Fullerton and Emily Day each got varsity starts for the first time. They both skied well finishing 35th and 42nd overall.

Marian returns to racing Monday in the Catholic League Championships at Mt. Brighton. On Tuesday they have their week one make up races and Thursday they will hopefully be fighting for a title in the Division Championships at Alpine Valley.

Both JV races were cancelled due to snow conditions. The Mustang JV racers compete Friday at Pine Knob in the Don Thomas Cup Championship.
