Marian varsity soccer opened its 2013 season with a tough 1-1 tie with Troy Athens on Monday, March 25. Braving the elements and a tough Athens team, Marian’s Brittany Gray scored Marian’s lone goal on a beautiful cross by Elise Pollock. Excellent goal keeping by Kaitlyn Patouhas and Allison Conway kept the game a tie.
Wow!! What a great finish to an excellent season! Our figure skating team did it again, winning the Level A state tournament in figure skating. The team finished 1st in Jumps, 1st in Moves and 3rd in Spins to win their second straight State title by a 34-29 margin over the second place team. Congrats
