Varsity Soccer ties Ladywood

On a cold and breezy night, Marian tied rival Ladywood 1-1 Friday. Marian scored in the first period when Allie Brodsky headed in a corner kick from Catherine Anger. This lead lasted until the 20 minute mark of the second half when Ladywood scored on a rebound. This tie leaves Marian with a 1-0-1 record

Varsity Lacrosse earns hard fought victory.

Varsity Lacrosse defeated Troy 13-10 on Wednesday in a cold evening battle. Marian jumped out to a 11-5 halftime lead and then held off a furious second half comeback to secure the victory. Marian’s JV also won by a 15-5 score. Lacrosse’s next contest is Friday, April 12 at home vs. Notre Dame Prep. JV

JV Soccer defeats Regina 3-0!

The experienced JV defense of Megan Carney, Abby Nowicki and Julie Grembi were able to completely shut down any offensive opportunities by Regina. Goals by Natalie Biehl, Katlyn Hyde and Anna Barron resulted in the 3-0 win. JV next game is at Cranbrook on Thursday, April 11 at 4:30.
