Marian-Mercy volleyball matches are not for the weak, the last 2 times the teams have met in MHSAA regional play, both matches went 5 sets. Last year the Marlins won on their way to a State title. This year Marian won in 5 sets, 25-22, 18-25, 25-20, 20-25 and 15-11. The match was a constant flux of emotions by all who played and were in attendance.
